2009 Championship Meet

Meet start time:   9:00 a.m.
Location:    Quincy Aquatic Center  724 F St. SE  

Schedule of warm-ups:  Quincy/Ephrata       7:15-7:35

                                   WRAC/YMCA           7:35-7:55

                                   CAsh/WAT              7:55-8:20

                                   Upper Valley           8:20-8:45 

      For sale at meet:

• T-shirts  (by Upper Valley)  ...(perhaps UV could add prices and pict of logo???)
• Heat Sheets  $3.00
• Concessions  (hot dogs, popcorn, sno cones, drinks, water, nachos, candy, ice cream bars and cones)

 Waterslides

• These will be open to swimmers and families at 11:00 a.m.
• There's a zero depth pool, "mushroom" and 2 slides
• The announcer's calls for events can be heard from slide area

 Parking   
    Pool lot can accommodate about 150 cars.  Overflow parking is directly across the street (Highway 28), and at high school.  There will be a drop-off lane by the pool for swimmers and gear. After circling back to highway, turn left and either park opposite or go west about 1 block to 6th Ave. SE.  Turn right there and go 3 short blocks to high school.  There is a walkway at east end of the lot, near batting practice cages, that will lead you back to highway.
 
Areas for setting up
    Swimmers and parents may set up within the pool fencing -- on east side only. 
There is also plentiful grass/shade in the park outside and on the Waterslide side of the aquatic center.  There will be several sets of bleachers for viewing.  Only volunteers, coaches, and active swimmers will be on deck.  Everyone is welcome to use the pool showers and restrooms, but all entry and exit will be from the waterslide side.

     Most are along highway as you enter Q from the west:
